Isn’t the weather unpredictable at the moment? After all this much-needed rain, I’m hoping Tassie will soon get some snow so I can play snow-angels with my young granddaughter for the first time. And in the garden, my Spring bulbs are flowering during this first month of Winter!
Next Tuesday is the 30th June – the last day of the 2019-20 financial year and your last chance to take advantage of a tax-deductible donation. This year is a challenging one for most of us, so it is especially important to support Tasmanian businesses and charities and ensure your money stays in our beautiful State. We have heard about a number of organisations that have ceased volunteer activities for the time being – but we haven’t!
Epilepsy Tasmania is looking for volunteers to fill a number of positions including social media, fundraising and administration support. Volunteer work is a great opportunity to develop new skills, make new friends and give back to your community.
