Brainwaves e-News, Ed 37, 2020

Thank you Friend,

This year has been such a mix of emotions, but mostly we have felt grateful, encouraged and inspired by the support of Tasmanians and our many Friends like you.

We began 2020 preparing for our biggest ever Purple Month (unfortunately we had to cancel or move much online) but we finished it with staff and volunteer celebrations that included food, laughter and alpaca petting🦙 (you’ll have to look at the photos further down for more on that!).

We are optimistic for 2021 as we have already had many requests for education & training and personalised support. We also have fingers crossed that all our Purple Month planning will go ahead next March.

Our offices will be taking a Christmas break as of Thursday 24th December and will reopen on Monday 11th January.

As we enter this holiday season, please remember that many people are still feeling the impacts of this year, so staying in touch and checking up on those around us can help lessen any sense of isolation being felt.

Merry Christmas,

Wendy Groot
