Brainwaves e-News, Ed 48, 2022

Hi Friend,

Welcome to the first Brainwaves for 2022. Although the year has not begun as most of us might have hoped we are optimistic that together we will continue to provide quality support services and activities for the Tasmanian epilepsy community.

Below there are links to some of our latest videos produced by our engagement coordinator Colin who left us at Christmas to go back to his passion of working within tourism. We were sad to see him go and grateful for all the wonderful work he did during his time with Epilepsy Tasmania.

You are aware of the quality podcast series produced by Ikin Media (link here) and we are excited to announce they are developing a new series for us called Symphony of the Brain. This series will be slightly different and will dig deeper into epilepsy and how it changes lives. We will soon be looking for people to take part in this initiative.

Epilepsy Tasmania recently provided the State Government with a new budget submission to continue funding the popular telephone service we successfully developed as a result of the Covid pandemic. The link to the submission can be found here.

Please be in touch if you would like to speak with us further.

Wendy Groot,  CEO Epilepsy Tasmania.
