The National Epilepsy Support telephone service is receiving more calls and all of these from Tasmania are referred to our local team where we provide further personal service and support.
The Tasmanian Government has progressed the implementation of Access Mental Health in partnership with Lifeline Tasmania. It is available from 9am-10pm 7 days a week to support and make it easier to access and engage with the mental health system. Access Mental Health supersedes the Mental Health Services Helpline, and the number is 1800 332 388. I welcome this milestone for the Tasmanian Mental Health Reform Program.
As always be in touch if you would like to know anything else.
Wendy Groot, CEO Epilepsy Tasmania.
