Brainwaves e-News Ed 64 2024

Hi Friend,

I’m excited to introduce myself as the new CEO of Epilepsy Tasmania.  It’s a privilege to join an organisation that has supported Tasmanians with epilepsy for almost 50 years.  I’m looking forward to working alongside those who have journeyed with Epilepsy Tasmania to continue providing the support, education, and advocacy that are so vital to our communities.

I’d also like to take a moment to acknowledge Wendy Groot, for her hard work and dedication. Wendy’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping the direction of Epilepsy Tasmania over the last decade, and I’m grateful for the solid foundation that has been built.  I’m committed to honouring the enduring work that has brought Epilepsy Tasmania to this point in time and ensuring that we stay true to our mission.

As I settle into this new role, I’m keen to keep growing in my understanding as to what is most important to those we support and how we can continue to improve and grow. Together, I believe we can continue to make a very tangible and positive difference for Tasmanians with epilepsy, and all those supporting them on their life journey.

Thank you for your ongoing support.  I’m looking forward to the exciting times ahead.

Best regards,

Paul Quilliam, CEO Epilepsy Tasmania.
